Since 2010 Epiphany families have banded together as a large group of jubilant runners and walkers that aimed high to Beat the Bridge at one of Seattle's most popular races in support of Type 1 Diabetes. This Spring, we'll do it again as Team "T1 Dream."
Each $50 buy-in donation to Epiphany School includes:
A spot on the T1Dream team (Note** you register for the race on your own see link below)
A T1Dream t-shirt and headband for race day
A group meet-up before the race with donuts, and a fun team tailgate after the race, where you can rest and high five while enjoying snacks and fun with Epiphany friends
Get fit, have fun, and support two great causes!
Your Buy-In donations go to Epiphany School, and your participation in the Beat the Bridge race supports Breakthrough T1D.
What is Beat the Bridge?
The Annual Nordstrom Beat the Bridge to Beat Diabetes race raises millions of dollars each year for Breakthrough T1D, the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The event consists of an 8K run and wheelchair race, a 3-mile walk, a 1-mile fun run, and the Diaper Derby for toddlers. Participants in the 8K try to cross Seattle's University Bridge before it's raised during the race. Those who don't beat the bridge must wait with a live band and prizes to pass the time. After a few minutes, the bridge lowers and everyone can finish the race.
Please ensure tickets are purchased for each family member attending and every child has an adult, as this is not a drop-off.

Epiphany School Private Playdate Night

Join 150 friends for a private event at PlayDate SEA, the three-story indoor playground with two interactive dance floors and a special ball cannon area! Enjoy pizza, chicken fingers, tater tots, and other snacks while the kids have a blast. This special event is designed just for Epiphany families, so bring the little ones and let them run wild while parents mingle over drinks and light bites in a relaxed atmosphere. It's the perfect opportunity to connect with other families and have a night of fun for all ages.
