Indulge your child's penchant for great literature and theater with Lise Wolken and Laura Zoeller. Four students will attend the 11am performance of Diary of Anne Frank at the Seattle Children’s Theater on Sunday, May 19. Lunch at Center House to Follow. Parents to provide transportation to and from Seattle Center. Open to students in 4th and 5th grades.
SEATTLE SOUNDERS GAME WITH MR. ARSENAULT AND CANDACE
Boom, Boom, Clap! Two very lucky students join Josh Arsenault and Candice Houghton as the Sounders take on the Los Angeles Galaxy on Sunday, April 28 at 12:30PM. Enjoy lunch and snacks while cheering for the Rave Green from fantastic seats in the Charter Season Ticket Holder section--an experience your child will likely never forget! Parents to provide transportation to and from game.
SEATTLE ART MUSEUM WITH BARBARA AND MARILYN
Attention Art Lovers! Six creative and curious students get to tour SAM with fellow art enthusiasts, Barbara Buchman and Marilyn Henry. Lunch and an art project to follow for a special 2-hour adventure. Parents to drop off and pick up the children at the Hammering Man sculpture entrance on a mutually agreeable date and time. Sotheby's values this experience as PRICELESS.
WALK TO MOLLY MOONS WITH MR. BURKLAND AND MR. BUSH
I scream. You scream. We all scream for Ice Cream with Mr. Bush and Mr. Burkland! Lucky ticket winner and 5 students will win the chance to stroll up to choose favorite scoops from Molly Moons with beloved 4th grade teachers. Winner and 5 guests get to join Ms. Carley and Mrs. Holmes, with babies in tow, for a playdate at Volunteer park on a mutually agreeable date this Spring. Bubbles, balloons and treats! Bask in the sunshine playing games and enjoy delicious snacks--what a special day!
AFTERNOON BOOK CLUB WITH EPIPHANY'S FAVORITE BOOKWORMS
Five lucky 3rd, 4th, or 5th graders will join Lindsay, Vicki, Michelle, Anne, and Jen Wilkinson in the Epiphany library for an afternoon of literary delight, complete with stimulating discussion, exciting activities, and delicious treats. Book genre and selection to be determined in consultation with the raffle winner. Your budding bookworms will eat this up!
BOATING ON GREENLAKE WITH SARA TEBEAU AND ANDREW SCHAFER
Row, row your (paddle) boat—or canoe, kayak, paddleboard, or water bike—with Sara Tebeau and Andrew Schafer! You and 3 friends get to meet at the Greenlake boathouse on a mutually agreeable date this spring for two hours of fun on the lake. Pack your water shoes and sunscreen for what is sure to be a dreamy time!
FREE DRESS FOR YOUR GRADE - WITH POPSICLE TREATS!
Dreams do come true! One lucky student will win free dress for her/his entire grade! Imagine sporting your most comfortable duds among a sea of red and blue. To top it off, toast your uniform-free day with a popsicle provided by fun-loving teachers and staff, Karen Ybarra, Leslie Larkin, Tina Larabee, Celia Russo, and Becky Melonson. MORNING RUGBY CAMP WITH MR. SHONE/ANDREW RAUCH/JULIAN MAYNARD
Curious about the new Seattle Seawolves? Why not have your child gather friends on the pitch to learn about a ruck and scrum from Epiphany's own stars, Mark Shone, Andrew Rauch, and Julian Maynard, at a Morning Rugby Camp from 9:30am-12pm on a mutually agreeable Saturday. Lunch provided. Can include up to 24 students. Open to students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.
Join the delightful Pre-K Team for a hike through Madrona Woods to the Madrona Beach. At the beach, enjoy popsicles while building sand castles. This very magical adventure is open to students in Pre-K to 2nd grade on a mutually agreeable date after school—arrange details with PreK Assistant, Mrs. Kitchell. Parents to pick up from Madrona Beach at 4:45.
(ALMOST) NIGHT AT SCHOOL: AN EVENING OF SURPRISES AND GAMES AT EPIPHANY SCHOOL
What happens at Epiphany School when the school day is done? Your child and his/her entire grade will get to find out! Inspired by “Night at the Museum,” join generous (brave?) Karen Benson, Anne Balicki, Amber LeJeune, Greg Jones, Paige Baublitz-Watkins, Jenn Elkin, Jaime Gillin, Jeannette Bastin, Elizabeth O'Shea, Andrew Schafer, and Alexa Sparks for after hours at Epiphany School. From 3:30-8:30pm, students will experience an evening of games, baking, board games, pizza, a movie—all activities selected by the winner. This is sure to be nothing short of magic! Winner selects from one of the following Fridays: May 3, May 17, May 31, and June 7. Open to students in K-5th Grades.
