WHAT IS GATHER EPIPHANY? GATHER Epiphany is the school’s biennial fundraising and community building event to raise money for Epiphany School’s financial aid program. The success of this event allows us to build on the promise of making an Epiphany School education available to all those who are admitted. Finally, GATHER Epiphany is an opportunity to come together as a school community and enjoy one another’s company--all over delicious drinks and scrumptious eats, of course!
WHY FINANCIAL AID? We are committed to supporting families for whom tuition would otherwise be a barrier to attendance.
HOW MUCH ARE WE RAISING FOR FINANCIAL AID? The goal of the event is to raise $200,000, which is a portion on our total budget for Financial Aid each year. Opportunities at GATHER to support Financial Aid include special Epiphany Experience Buy-Ins (see below), auctioning special items like – an art piece helped created by all Epiphany School students, and the one-and-only reserved parking spot directly in front of Epiphany School – and through a direct donation during the Raise the Paddle. All guests will be invited to make a financial contribution by raising an auction paddle in support of Epiphany School.
WHO ATTENDS? The whole Epiphany School community–parents, faculty, staff, and sponsors–comes together for one evening each year so it’s the cocktail party not to be missed.
WHAT TO WEAR? Our theme this year is “Go for the Gold,” in honor of the upcoming 2020 Olympics. The Olympics represent people coming together in fellowship, sport and fun. Do you need inspiration? Check out our “Lookbook” for ideas and inspiration. We hope that all attendees feel welcomed at GATHER and most importantly, we want you to join us!
HOW DO I RSVP? The suggested ticket price is $75 per person (faculty and staff will be will receive tickets at no cost). To make GATHER more inclusive, we are offering an option for guests to pay what they choose. This can be more than $75 (to help support other guests attendance) or less than $75. Included in your ticket prices are drinks, heavy appetizers, dancing, and a guaranteed great time. We hope that EVERYONE can Go For the Gold!
WHAT IS A BUY-IN? “Buy-ins” are a group outings, themed parties, or events held in the months around GATHER Epiphany. You “buy in” (purchase tickets) to attend the event. These events are meant to be a fun, easy way to connect with other parents and families in the Epiphany School community.
We hope that Buy-Ins raise money for the school while Buy-In attendees form new friendships and connections. Buy-Ins offer a wide variety of experiences and opportunities that will appeal to the diversity of the Epiphany Community at a variety of price points. HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED? All families are encouraged to attend and take part by volunteering, purchasing Buy-Ins, and raising the paddle. Please email gather@epiphanyschool.org if you’d like to be part of the fun.
WHO HOSTS? Our hosts are current Epiphany School parents, who volunteer their time and lend their expertise and creativity to make this an evening to remember.
